Durham Flooring undertook a major flooring revamp of The Discovery Museum, Newcastle. Replacing worn flooring with new hard wearing vinyl flooring From Karndean and Altro. Making contrasting walkways using Altro's Designer 25 product and Karndean's Renoir vinyl wood plank, creating a quality bespoke finish. Carpet tiles were replaced in some of the permanent galleries and display areas.

Durham Flooring also undertook extensive subfloor preparation works to prepare the floor for the overings. This included plylining to areas and major screed works to the reception area using Ardex products and technical back up to ensure a superior finish.
